The Keystone Team is excited to announce that we have integrated with Keplr, the leading software wallet in the Cosmos ecosystem, to bring added convenience and security to users.

For those unfamiliar, Keystone is a hardware wallet device that provides an extra layer of security against hacking and other cyber threats, allowing users to safely store their digital assets offline. Our user-friendly interface and robust security features make it a popular choice for many cryptocurrency investors looking to protect their assets.

Keplr, on the other hand is a well-known IBC-enabled wallet for the Cosmos Interchain ecosystem, powered by Chainapsis. It is open-source and the trusted choice for many Cosmos users due to its support for multiple coins and tokens within the ecosystem.

With this integration, users can now seamlessly manage their Cosmos assets securely by simply linking their Keystone to Keplr’s Web Extension Application.

This partnership brings the convenience and accessibility of a software wallet together with the security of a hardware wallet, providing Cosmos users with the best of both worlds. It also helps to further strengthen the security of the entire Cosmos ecosystem, as Cosmos users will have more options to store their assets on a hardware wallet.

Head over to Keplr’s official website to download their app today! Do also check out their 2023 Roadmap to gain insight into the plans they have laid out for their users.

Current Keystone owners will have to upgrade their firmware to the M-9.0 version to be able to connect their Keystone Essential or Pro to Keplr’s Web Extension App. Existing Keystone users can refer to our firmware upgrading guide here & update their firmware here.

We are confident that this partnership will be beneficial for both Keystone and Keplr users. Keep an eye out for more updates to come!
